The Secret Life of Pets

Synopsis

The State is going to the dogs ~ again! We are excited to announce that we are bringing back everyone’s favorite dog event.  Yes, that means you can come to the movies with your Best (dog) Friend!  Admission for your fur-baby is just $3 and directly benefits dogs awaiting adoption at Kate’s Rescue.

Partnered with Goughnuts dog toys, Bark Dog Park & Bar, Modesto Subaru, Kate’s Rescue, and Treat ‘Um Right pet treats. Dress your pooch up for the dog parade and come early to take part in the raffle, treat sales, toy sales, giveaways, plus a special short training demonstration from ‘Sit Means Sit’ training.

Max (Louis C.K.) is a spoiled terrier who enjoys a comfortable life in a New York building until his owner adopts Duke, a giant and unruly canine. During their walk outside, they encounter a group of ferocious alley cats and wind up in a truck that’s bound for the pound. Luckily, a rebellious bunny named Snowball swoops in to save the doggy duo from captivity. In exchange, Snowball demands that Max and Duke join his gang of abandoned pets on a mission against the humans who’ve done them wrong.

Doors open at 12 with raffles and vendors; parade takes place at 12:45 p.m.

All dogs must be on a leash and friendly (non-aggressive) toward other dogs to be admitted.
