California State University Stanislaus is proud to partner with the State Theatre to commemorate Juneteenth through screenings of two powerful films, Harriet and Selma This event honors the history, resilience, and enduring contributions of Black Americans while creating space for reflection and learning within our community. By sharing these stories on the big screen, we recognize the ongoing journey toward equity and justice and invite audiences to connect more deeply with this important chapter of American history. Stan State is providing free tickets to ensure that all members of the community – regardless of background or financial ability – can participate in this meaningful celebration, fostering inclusion, accessibility, and collective understanding.
