Synopsis
Join us on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 for a car show and a classic lowrider film, Boulevard Nights, with special guests Ballet Folklórico Anáhuac, DJ Crushcon, and the Burn and Rave Podcast!
Boulevard Nights Synopsis:
Raymond Avila is a young Mexican-American trying to resist the lure of street gangs in East Los Angeles. Raymond’s brother, Chuco, has been less successful; despite Raymond’s attempts to steer him clear, Chuco finds a sense of belonging by being part of a gang. As Raymond’s relationship with his girlfriend deepens, he takes steps toward building himself a future. But all that is thrown into jeopardy when tragedy strikes and a gang war erupts.
In addition to the film, the evening will feature a “Best 1st Generation Monte Carlo” prize and “Best Lowrider prize,” a photobooth, and Ballet Folklorico.

Car Show Participants (Lowriders only):
- 1st generation Montecarlos will be parked in front of the theater.
- All other lowriders can park along J Street and in the Bank of Stockton parking lot.
Please Note: J Street parking in front of the theatre will be blocked off for lowriders only.
Schedule of Events (subject to change):
- Cruise & Lowrider Car Show: 6 p.m.
- Ballet Folklórico: 6:30 p.m.
- Boulevard Nights: 7 p.m. sharp
*If you would like to join the cruise, meet up at American Chevrolet at 4:30pm.
