Host:

Monique Flores:

Monique Flores is a stand-up comic in bloom. Since age 7, Monique has called L.A. home, where, as a young girl, she fantasized about someday being a stand-up comic. After graduating college, Monique started a career in Real Estate. After the housing bubble popped, Monique pursued her childhood dream and took comedy on full-time. Now Monique entertains audiences all across California, performing at comedy clubs like The Ice House, Laugh Factory, Punch Line & Improv. Much of Monique’s humor is drawn from her family life and her daily experiences. Coming from a huge family, Monique characterizes many of them in her on-stage tales. Monique is both energetic and physical, crafting comical cracks and observations.

Featuring Comedians:

Tania Estrada:

Tania Estrada is a stand-up comedian, actress, and musician in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas comedy circuits. In 2002, Estrada started stand-up comedy classes with Comedy Store regular Adam Barnhardt.

Tania Estrada has worked with Jeff Garcia, Jeff Richards, Bridget Eftekhar, Tammy Jo Dearen, Ralph Figueroa, Anyi Malik, Jeffrey Peterson, Big Mike Mitchell, and the great Frazer Smith all over California and Las Vegas. Today, she is considered to be one of the funniest female Hispanic comedians on the circuit, touring with Last Comic Standing runner-up Adam Richmond and securing a menu spot on the J Anthony Brown’s J Spot Comedy Club’s Celebrity Food Menu as the “Tania Estrada Slammin’ Tacos” after performing one time at the J Spot and receiving a standing ovation from all the females in the club.

The comedy circuit has helped Tania break into acting in both English and Spanish. She has already completed movies, TV shows, and a YouTube pilot called The Real Housewives of Compton.

Tyson Paul:

A veteran comedian based in Central California, Tyson Paul has performed in various comedy clubs all over the West Coast, including The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco, CA. Tyson has been fortunate to share the stage with some of comedy’s biggest stars, including Tiffany Haddish, Amy Schumer, and Aries Spears.

Subhah Agrawal:

Subhah Agarwal has brought honesty to her comedy that will leave you saying, “I didn’t need to know that.” Subhah has written for Netflix’s “Arsenio Hall” limited series, the “Plan B” movie on Hulu,” and The Jim Jefferies Show” on Comedy Central, amongst others. You can also catch her jokes live at stand-up comedy clubs nationwide. If you don’t want to leave your couch, you can see her late-night debut on NBC’s “A Little Late With Lilly Singh.” She’s also appeared on season three of HBO’s “Westworld,” “General Hospital,” TruTv’s sketch comedy “Friends of the People”, and as herself on MTV2, Comedy Central, and Gotham Comedy Live.

Saul Trujillo:

Saul Trujillo is a child-like man ready to light up any room with his awkward energy. Growing up in the city of Stockton wasn’t easy, but it gave him the thick skin needed for any situation on and off the stage. Featured on Amazon Prime’s “Laugh After Dark”, Saul uses obscure observations to keep you scratching your head and laughing simultaneously.

Highlighted by having his name on display outside of the world-famous The Comedy Store, 2023 would see Trujillo be selected to be part of this year’s Just For Laughs: New Faces of Comedy and would be featured on Don’t Tell Comedy and Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring.

Headliner of the Evening:

Nick Guerra:

Nick Guerra is definitely a comedian who will catch you off guard, BUT in a good way. His comedy has been described by his fans as a hilarious soul-cleansing experience. He is a stand-up comedian who wants people to not only enjoy his show but leave enjoying life in general. Nick has been featured on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, has a Dry Bar comedy special, “Enjoy Life,” and an HBO half-hour comedy special, “Love Me At My Worst.” He made his TV debut on the Comedy Central show “Stand Up Revolution with Gabriel Iglesias” and was a fan favorite on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
