Synopsis
The Modesto City Marching Brigade, representing all of the local high school music programs, was invited to march in the 2023 National Independence Day Parade in Washington DC. We are excited to represent our community and the Central Valley on the national stage in July! This fundraiser will help us get to DC!
Dress like your favorite rock star and join us for a rockin’ fundraiser with food, drinks, a silent auction, and a live band! Stay for a screening of School of Rock after the reception.
Fired from his band and hard up for cash, guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn finagles his way into a job as a fifth-grade substitute teacher at a private school, where he secretly begins teaching his students the finer points of rock ‘n’ roll. The school’s hard-nosed principal is rightly suspicious of Finn’s activities. But Finn’s roommate remains in the dark about what he’s doing.
Doors and reception at 5:30; band at 6:30; film at 7 p.m.
