Encore Screening: Top 24 Films
Couldn’t make it to the Finale Screening? Want to to see even more films? Come experience the very best of this year’s Modesto 48 Hour Film Competition at the Top 24 Encore Screening!
The Encore Screening is a special two-hour showcase featuring the top 24 films from this year’s competition. These films were created by some of the most talented and passionate filmmakers in the Modesto area and were all written, filmed, and edited in just 48 hours.
This screening will be presented without a host or awards ceremony. The films will play straight through, back-to-back, with no intermission, allowing audiences to experience an additional eight films that were not screened the previous night.
Whether you’re a filmmaker, a supporter, or simply a fan of local storytelling, the Encore Screening is your chance to sit back and enjoy the best films of the competition all in one cinematic experience.
The State Theatre of Modesto’s 48 Hour Film Competition is a local competition that has been operated by ReTold Productions since 2019. We have seen over 500 films created for our competition over the years and have awarded over $40,000 in cash prizes! We are proud to be a part of the local filmmaking scene and hope to continue to support filmmakers of all skill levels.
Doors open at 1; films begin at 2 p.m.
