Host
Gabe Alexander
Gabriel Alexander demanded immediate recognition almost as soon as he pulled the mic from the stand. He stormed onto the Northern California scene with both quick wit and a style of comedy that’s true to who he is. He’s already performing at major clubs, including The World Famous Comedy Store, but he’s also a regular at his hometown club, Laughs Unlimited, in Sacramento, CA. He’s also hosting various open mics and cutting his teeth as a producer with the Broken House comedy show. Make sure to watch Gabriel as an up-and-coming comedian, as he is as funny as he is hungry.
Featured Comedians:
Melanie Iglesias
Beautiful, stylish, and hilariously quick-witted entertainment personality Melanie Iglesias from Brooklyn, New York, has been a CAN’T-MISS talent for over a decade.
Emerging in 2010 as the winner of Maxim’s “Hometown Hotties,” Iglesias instantly gained nationwide popularity as a dating and fashion correspondent on MTV’s “Guy Code” and “Girl Code.” She also starred in the network spin-off “Guy Court” as the bailiff.
After high-profile appearances on Orange Is The New Black and World Poker Tour, Melanie would transition to the world of stand-up comedy in the mid-2010s. Performing as a featured or headlining act, Iglesias shines brightest when performing live regularly at notable comedy clubs on the West Coast, such as The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, HaHa Comedy Club, Ice House Comedy Club, and Hollywood Improv.
Alexis Prigo
An executive assistant by day and one of the funniest young female comedians in the country, Alexis Prigo has had talent and the spotlight in her blood all her life. A stand-up comedian and actress from Pasadena, CA, Prigo’s strong writing and quick wit have taken her very far in comedy, touring as an opening act for some of the biggest names in entertainment. Alexis has been seen on mainstream comedic platforms, including MTV, Comedy Central, and Amazon. Selected as one of the top 100 comedians in Hollywood in 2018 and 2024, she’s also traveled as a popular solo act in Australia and the UK. Prigo regularly performs at iconic comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, The Laugh Factory, and HaHa Comedy Club in Southern California when she is not on the road.
Tyson Paul
A veteran comedian based in Central California who has spent most of his adult years in the comedy business, the We Own The Laughs founder has performed in various comedy clubs all over the West Coast, including The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Punchline Sacramento, The Well Comedy Club, Mic Drop Comedy Club, and Cobbs Comedy Club. A career currently spanning over two decades, Tyson has been fortunate enough to share the stage with some of comedy’s biggest stars, including Tiffany Haddish, Amy Schumer, and Alfred Robles.
Event Headliner
Chris Estrada
Chris Estrada is an actor, comedian, and writer born and raised in South Central and Inglewood, where he spent his formative years running from loose pit bulls, getting robbed, and geeking out over comic books and punk rock. Most recently, Chris starred in the breakout comedy series THIS FOOL on Hulu, which he also co-created.
Previously, he was voted “one of LA’s comedians to watch in 2018,” by Time Out LA and was an “Up Next” performer at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest in San Francisco.
His short film that he wrote, produced, and starred in, 5TH OF JULY, was an official selection at the New York Latino Film Festival and the LA Independent Filmmakers Showcase Film Festival last year.
