Everyone who’s anyone knows Uncle Lonny. In fact, he may be your “Uncle” too! So all the more reason to come and celebrate his birthday with live music and an evening of good times ~ Lonny-style Featuring Flying Blind. A local band conceived in the bedrooms and basements of life-long friends in the summer of 1993, they soared to the pinnacle of their success in 2000 when the local rock and roll band played to 10,000 fans at B-93’s Summerfest. Their single Smokescreen was getting a lot of play nationally, and the CD Push came in 2001. The band’s fame grew when Smokescreen was added to the soundtrack for American Pie II. No need to bring presents but do plan to have a good time at this benefit for Hope Haven West, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mobility for disabled poor.
Doors at 6; show at 7 p.m.
