A young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family, who offer him a temporary haven.

ABOUT THE STANISLAUS LIBRARY FOUNDATION

The mission of the Library Foundation is to enrich lives in our community by raising funds to support key library programs, increasing awareness, and advocating for a vital library.

The programs we support include Summer Reading Challenge, Home “Read to Me!” Kits, e-books, Teen Book Club, Juvenile Justice Center Library, Library Outreach programs, Book Giveaways, Financial Literacy program, and our Shining Star Award Volunteer Recognition.

PURPOSE OF THE FAMILY OUTREACH EVENT

This is not a fundraiser. Our purpose is to provide a cost-friendly family event for Stanislaus County and broaden awareness of the Stanislaus Library Foundation mission, library programs, and our donor base.
