Man on the Moon – A Tribute to the King of Pop

This summer, Strut Performing Arts proudly presents our 9th Annual Summer Production, Man on the Moon — an electrifying tribute to one of the most iconic entertainers in the history of the world… Michael Jackson.

From the moment the first beat drops, audiences will be taken on a journey through the music, movement, and magic of the artist who forever changed the face of entertainment. Known across the globe as The King of Pop, Michael Jackson was not simply a performer… he was a revolution. A visionary. A once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon whose influence still shapes music, dance, fashion, and pop culture today.

At just six years old, Michael Jackson stepped onto the stage with The Jackson 5 and quickly became a dominant force in popular music. By the time he launched his solo career, he would go on to break every record imaginable. His album Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, and his signature style – from the moonwalk to the robot, from the glove to the fedora – became symbols recognized in every corner of the world.

Michael Jackson didn’t just perform music…

We are forever grateful to the parents who turned up the music, encouraged imagination, and never stopped believing in the power of movement, expression, and dreams. Those moments led us here… to this stage, to this production, and to the journey we now share with every dancer who walks through our doors.
