Synopsis
Calling all Step Brothers fans. The State is putting on THE Catalina Wine Mixer! Wine tasting, hors-d’oeuvres, live entertainment, along with an in-person screening of the movie! We’re pulling out all of the stops, with the goal to make this an annual summertime event right here in Modesto.
Step Brothers is a 2008 comedy written by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay that follows Brennan (Will Ferrell) and Dale (John C. Reilly), two grown men who are forced to live together as brothers after their single parents, with whom they still live, marry each other.
The Catalina Wine Mixer, an event that marks the finale of the film, has become iconic in American culture. Partnering with local breweries & wineries, our goal to make this a Central Valley based experience.
