Synopsis
Youth for Christ Central Valley serves youth and their families in schools, high-need neighborhoods, and juvenile detention facilities. Through a variety of programs, services, outreaches, and counseling opportunities, Youth for Christ works with more than 3,000 youth annually, helping them develop valuable life skills and learn about God’s love. After three years of anticipation, we are pleased to once again present Comedy Night – a comedy club style event. We hope this event will make you laugh, build community, and bring greater awareness to the needs of youth in our community. This is not your typical fundraiser, and there will be no bait-and-switch. Dennis Gaxiola – Dennis Gaxiola is one of America’s funniest clean comedians. The preacher’s son and Air Force veteran, with over 20 National Television appearances, including Comedy Central’s Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx, Stand up Revolution with Gabriel Iglesias, STARZ Networks First Amendment Stand Up, TBN’s Praise The Lord Comedy Specials, Show Time at the Apollo, BET’s Comic View, Que Locos and more.
Jeanette Marin – Just a mom trying not to yell! One of the funniest stay-at-home mom’s you’ll ever meet. Performing for events throughout California, and working for the job title, not the pay.
Jay Rich – Comedian Jay Rich has a high energy story-telling and observational style of comedy. A real down to earth kind of guy! Climbing the ranks in the bay area comedy scene lead Jay Rich a position as a substitute Host For the dream team Morning show on 102.9 KBLX. Has worked with the Late great Paul Mooney and was a finalist in the Bay Area black comedy competition. He’s also performed in the Shaq ALL-star competition and took 1st place in Tommy T’s 10k comp.
