Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror

Synopsis

Originally produced as an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu stands on its own merits as a groundbreaking work of horror cinema.

Real estate agent Thomas Hutter is sent to a castle in Transylvania to visit a new client, the mysterious Count Orlok. The Count seeks to buy a derelict house near Hutter’s own residence, where he lives with his wife, Ellen. When Orlok’s true vampiric nature is revealed, Hutter struggles to escape the castle, knowing Ellen is in grave danger.

Featuring a reconstruction of Hans Erdmann’s original 1922 score by Berndt Heller.
