One of the nation’s premier comedy entertainment companies returns to Modesto, CA, with the wildest group of performers currently in stand-up comedy as part of We Own The Laughs: Modesto on Saturday November 29th inside The State Theatre.

The event will feature hilarious performances by Jenn Sterger, Darius Bennett, and our evening’s headliner, Kill Tony star Uncle Lazer.

Drink, Mingle, & Laugh as our evening host will be 209 native Colin Casados.

Enjoy the best part of our weekend, which features laughs with your family and friends while sharing some excellent snacks and adult beverages from The State Theatre.

Reminiscent of the cousin at the family BBQ that everyone loves to be around, Colin Casados transitioned into comedy late in his party life. However, that didn’t stop him from wasting any time becoming one of the nightly crowd favorites every time he stepped on stage. Already earning high praise from superstars Jesus Sepulveda, Erica Rhodes, Lance Woods, Frank Castillo, and Natalie Friedman, Casados entertains the audience using reality-based material centered around his life as a single father of two. Colin can be seen regularly at venues across the West Coast, including The Comedy Store, Tommy T’s, Cobbs Comedy Club, Deaf Puppy, The Well Comedy Club, and Punch Line Sacramento.

Jenn Sterger

Jenn Sterger is a well-known stand-up comedian, TV host, journalist, actress and model. First gaining mainstream popularity as one of the original Florida State Cowgirls. After college, Jenn worked as the “Gameday Host” for the New York Jets and was a co-host of The Daily Line on Versus. Sterger has been featured as a famous playmate in Playboy magazine and was selected twice for Maxim magazine “Hot 100 List.” As a model, Jenn has participated in endorsement deals with Dr. Pepper and Sprint. In 2008, she was ranked #19 on Byte Me: 20 Hottest Women of the Web. In 2019, Jenn was hired by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as an on-air personality conducting event updates and pre & post fight interviews with wrestlers. Currently residing in Los Angeles, CA, but also traveling all over the U.S., Jenn best and most natural talent is making people laugh their a** off as a high-profile stand-up comedian. A regular featured act at iconic comedy clubs throughout the West Coast, Sterger’s stellar performances have earned rave reviews performing alongside fellow comedy stars Bret Kreischer, Tom Arnold, Dane Cook, and Chris Spencer.

Darius Bennett

Darius Bennett is originally from Detroit, Michigan who bought a spur of the moment one way ticket to LA in the middle of the night and has never looked back. He can currently be seen on Netflix’s “Introducing…” along with Just For Laughs new faces. and in his short time on the west coast, he has been featured in numerous commercials for 5 Hour Energy and Rocket Mortgage as well as in the features “CornerStore” and “Gifted Hands.” He has performed comedy all across the nation from clubs and colleges on the East coast to the World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles California. His comedy consists of topics such as dating, family and 9 to 5 jobs. Now living in Austin Texas Darius Bennett is surely on his way to becoming a household name and favorite!

Texas-born, Uncle Lazer brings his raw, blue-collar, rough-around-the-edges comedic style to audiences across the country. He transitioned from over a decade working in the oil fields to the stand-up stage, quickly making a name for himself with a breakthrough performance on “Kill Tony” that highlighted his unfiltered perspective on everyday life. Beyond the stage, he’s collaborated with brands like Blue Chew and Prize Picks. When he’s not headlining his own tour, Uncle Lazer keeps the laughs coming with his hit podcast, “My Drunk Uncle’s Podcast”—streaming on all major platforms—and a slew of lively vlogs that give fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at his off-stage adventures.
