A comedy of midlife reinvention and the redeeming power of friendship. Defying midlife haze, two friends seize an unlikely opportunity to reinvent their lives, quitting their jobs to restore an old bowling alley and serve the world’s greatest pizza.

Writer, Director & Editor, Gary Lundgren grew up in Foster City, but Turlock and Modesto are like a second home to him. His parents met at Turlock High School and live there now while his brother lives in Riverbank working as an optometrist. For Gary, nearly every Christmas is spent in Modesto with his family.

Last May, The State Theater was part of a very special “Phoenix, Oregon” 70 city nationwide screening tour that took the film to the East coast and back.
