DESCRIPTION:Extraordinary Foods was born in 2022 in Modesto\, California\, from a simple idea: ordinary food is easy to find—Extraordinary food is something you have to create. \nFounded by Garret Bianco\, Extraordinary Foods is a grassroots craft food company built around bold flavors\, creativity\, and a hands-on approach to making food from the ground up. What started with a passion for growing peppers and experimenting with hot sauce has grown into a unique food brand focused on sauces\, condiments\, fermented products\, and custom food creations. \nGarret began growing peppers in 2020\, with a particular fascination for rare and exceptionally hot varieties. As his freezer began filling with peppers\, he started turning them into hot sauces\, experimenting with different combinations of heat\, acidity\, sweetness\, smoke\, fruit\, and savory ingredients. The goal wasn’t simply to make something hot—it was to find the perfect balance in every bottle. \nThat philosophy became the foundation of Extraordinary Foods. \nBased in the heart of California’s Central Valley\, Garret draws heavily from the ingredients\, agriculture\, and character of the region. His creations incorporate locally inspired ingredients such as California figs\, white grapes\, Fresno and Anaheim peppers\, Stanislaus tomatoes\, Gilroy garlic\, olive oil\, and other California-grown products. \nOne of the company’s signature creations\, California Figment\, represents that philosophy. Developed over two years\, the Central Valley-style BBQ sauce combines California white grapes and black Mission figs with peppers\, garlic\, tomatoes\, vinegar\, and savory ingredients to create a BBQ sauce that is distinctly Californian and anything but ordinary. \nExtraordinary Foods has also expanded beyond its own product line into custom formulation and white-label production\, helping other food businesses develop unique sauces and specialty products. One of the company’s most significant projects has been a custom Sciabica Charcuterie Sauce\, created in partnership with the Sciabica family and their California olive oil company. \nGarret’s work has also received attention beyond the local food community. Extraordinary Foods was featured on Good Day Sacramento\, where Garret showcased California Figment and his craft sauce creations\, putting a spotlight on the growing specialty-food scene in Modesto and the Central Valley. \nAt its core\, Extraordinary Foods remains intentionally personal. It isn’t about becoming another mass-produced sauce company. It’s about craftsmanship\, experimentation\, local connections\, and putting the creator’s time and passion into every product. \nFrom rare peppers and fermentation to BBQ sauce\, hot sauce\, mustard\, michelada mix\, ponzu\, and custom formulations\, Extraordinary Foods is built on one belief: \nDon’t make ordinary food.
