From the small town that brought you George Lucas and American Graffiti comes the coolest stand-up comedy show of the summer: American Laughiti: Modesto’s Annual Comedy Competition, featuring a $5000 Grand Prize and a $1500 Audience Choice Award!
The Top Eight (8) comedians will be invited to compete live at the State Theatre on Saturday, July 22, 2023, 7pm.
- Four (4) spots will be determined by the most online likes / votes.
- Four (4) spots will be determined offline by a panel of judges.
ONLINE VOTING:
- Online voting begins June 1, 2023 and ends on June 30, 2023 at 5 p.m.
- Registered voters will only be able to vote once, but will be able to cast up to 5 votes for their favorite comedian or for multiple comedians.
- Sharing the voting link on social media is strongly encouraged.
- Any digital tampering or actions deemed as “voter fraud” by a comedian, relative, friend, or acquaintance of any comedian on behalf the comedian will result in disqualification.
